Happy holidays and all that jazz! I over did it these past few days. Thanksgiving cooking and then today trying to put up all the lights in the house. Got most of it done but after getting almost stung by hornets and then the humidity being too much  my hubby convinced me to go crash on the couch and that is where i have been. Fun right? So now I am sitting here writing this post while watching old school looney tunes on youtube. It is the Holiday mix. Anyways every one is talking black friday deals and well SHEIN and rent the runway (the bag is rent the runway) are having sales. I hope you all are staying safe and just shopping online.   I first saw this sweater dress on Shein .I thought to myself ,ok that looks nice and soft. Not scratchy at all! The thing is with me I am allergic to wool and wool based products. I have a gorgeous cashmere sweater that itches like the dickens because of the allergy. It sucks, but that is the way my life is. Anywho,  I figured the price being low on this sweater dress that the chances of it being wool is very very slim. I bought the dress and knew the piece would go perfectly with my shein otk boots ! Which also were bought from shein.  This is a very fall vibes bit of style! And with the weather finally getting cooler I think we can finally start brining out the fall attire! Sweater weather baby!   It took me a lot to get out and take these photos with this super simplistic outfit on. A lot. I had a lot in my mind going against me. Some thinned out and maybe a bald patch from my hair loss and trichotillomania and the flabby tummy from having a second child and having medicines cause weight issues. It was all going against my favor , all of it. In fact I actually started to hate and I mean really hate cropped tops. Because in my mind someone with my body and my age shouldn't wear them. I mean who do I think I am? I am no Giselle and I am no Adriana nope . And certainly not Naiomi. But then i saw other influencers and bloggers share the body positivity. And it is empowering. Truly. But i just can not stop looking at the flaws. Flaws I caused by yanking my hair all the time. And the flabby flaws that were caused by carrying my little and then the meds that followed.   Cooler weather has finally made it to Florida and that means we can dress more “fallish”. That is now a word, shush. Dresses for fall, ah yes. Long sleeved maxi dresses and long sleeved midi dresses and mini dresses worn with boots. But, did you know that there is a way to style a summery dress for fall? I’m sure you do, it is pretty common knowledge I think and pretty simplistic. And it is more Than just wear a jacket over it. Just get a simple white or black or whatever long sleeved shirt and wear it under that scrappy summery dress you have been eyeballing. Dresses like this Farm Rio wrap dress are so beautiful here in Florida most of the year, but yeah it can get cooler here sometimes and wearing a top like this on from Shein means I can wear it more and more. Blogging is fun. For a while it did not seem that way for me it seemed like a burden and a hassle. I think mostly because my blog on my self hosted site was always and is always breaking. I was getting tired of finding a way to post when files are missing and code is broken. And being blacklisted thanks to the server we are on did not help. My numbers were crap and I was blaming me for it 100% as I always tend to do. Truth is it was mostly bad hosting. With just a few weeks (like 2) on blogger, my views are up and more than on the go daddy Wordpress bull crap. Go figure.  I feel like I did years ago blogging. It is fun again! And with COVID being around I find myself going back to shooting at home in my little corner here in the bedroom. And yeah I still go out and shoot, but I don’t beat myself up for not having those out in public editorial shots. I don’t need them! And that is ok, I do go at least 3 times a week for photos out of the house . Planned outfits in a great location! ...
