Fake hair and fake lashes but real confidence
So, I am sure there are those out there who say or would maybe think that a lady of my age (30s) and weight shouldn’t wear a top like this. And maybe they are right. Who knows. I feel like I have done a lot to make myself look better to me. Meaning working out as much as I can within my physical limits (thanks neurocardiogenic syncope!) and I feel like what I have been doing has been working! As far as getting me out of a bleh shape and into a hey you are a human shape. I have been doing the best I can with my Trichotillomania and the wigs are working! And while yesterday was bad. I mean really bad in the pulling and breaking my real hair.(work in progress and that is ok if I have a set back or two) but today. Today is a good day although I have a cold .
Back to the shirt. With all the accounts I follow of women who are breaking the body positivity norms and doing what they like with clothes it really is inspiring to me . And I thought I need to be kinder to myself and wear the damn crop top ! But in saying that let me say this...NOT EVERY SHIRT needs to be a “crop top” m’kay! I want a full length sweater not an under boob sweater. Kay?
Ugh and I am sure I am not alone there!
But this top, is ok! I got it from Target and it is under $10! So yeah not bad! And the jeans are Also from Target. The trick with crop tops is to pair with a high waist jean or pants. Or skirt. The balance there is what you need to pull off the crop top. And the Confidence to go with it won’t hurt too.
