Don’t suppress my vote! Wearing Farm Rio.

  

Get out  and vote! Get out and vote! But don’t suppress my vote! I got my ballot in the mail so I could vote early or by mail. And right off the bat something was wrong with my ballot. It did not have the ability to be sealed. They didn’t add the sealant stickers. So my husband found out we can glue them , he asked at the polling place. So, I did what he did and I glued it right where the indentation for the sealants. My ballot was good to go and I went to go vote by drop box.  All good right? Wrong. 

This is when things would get into a mess. I decided to go by voter card, you the registration card. The card said my polling place was an elementary school. Weird ? I went there even though I knew that was off, and by the way this is a new card. The school said that had been happening a lot and they even reached out to the board of elections. The board said there was nothing they would or could do! So the school was out of luck. And I was directed to a church. The church was empty, at this point I am beyond pissed. And my husband reminded me the address was on the ballot too. Oh yeah....  

so I went to the elections office and put my ballot in the box. All was right in the world right? Not for this Dem!

So, A few days later I get an email saying my signature was fraudulent.um what? Then my ballot was fraudulent. Then I was not whom I said I was and thus my ballot was fraudulent, something like that. Signatures don’t match and so my ballot was fraud. And I would have to fill out a form to prove who I was! Then some volunteers from the voting commission came to give me the affidavit to fill out and sign. And from what I was told this is happening ALOT. Voters mail in ballots are being rejected and hidden as a fraudulent vote, voter who did vote early via drop box voted are not being counted and marked fraudulent. Voter I’d cards have wrong info on them. Freaking hell Florida! 

And just so you know my spouse is registered as Republican and did not experience this. I am a democrat..and Did. 

More farm rio goodness

The election this year is really worrisome. And I am hoping that we get the change we want. So much is at stake! For all of us! So watch you voter status, check on the vote. Vote! Stand in line! Do what you can! We need to get that sack of putrid garbage out of office. 

I absolutely love Farm Rio! I have become obsessed since I first tried out their clothes with my rent the runway(which I canceled, read about that here) and have been slowly adding things to my closet. The thing is here in Florida it is never really cold enough to really wear the fall. So the bold tropical prints fit here. And I can add more “winter” items too them to make them more “winter” .
